Threshold sculpture for Vale Park Aylesbury,Bucks.

To mark the junction in Vale Park between Old Victorian formal garden and new Aqua Vale swimming pool development.
Commissioned by Aylesbury Vale Arts Council through Artpoint Trust.

Made from 12 intersecting stainless steel 60mm tubes.

Size:  Height 8 metres x 3 metres diameter.

NEW DAWN
Gates and Railings for Look Ahead Housing & Care, Sheltered Housing at 320 - 328 Ladbroke Grove, London.

Commissioned by Look Ahead Housing & Care (Housing Trust) for new build block of one bedroom flats housing former rough sleepers, developed by PRP Architects.

35 meter long gates and railings the full length of building.  Steel railing structure with stainless steel artwork.

Size:  Height 1.8 metres x 35 metres long with four gates.

Completed August 2001

ROOTBALL

To mark the creation of Landkey Millennium Green, Devon.

Design focused on rootball / canopy of Mazzard Trees.   Placed at intersection of footpath with forks into three directions. 

Stainless steel matrix set flush with concrete and exposed ocean rough aggregate screed.  Edged with reclaimed granite cobbles.

Sculpture for courtyard 1A in the new Dryburn Hospital, Durham. Commissioned by North Durham Health Care NHS Trust and Balfour Haden (public / private partnership).

Commission included the design of floorscape layout with Landscape Architects (HLM Architects)

Fixed to concrete plynth and bolted together on site.

Constructed from 50mm 316 grade stainless steel tube

Size : 8 meters high x 5 meters wide at top

Completed in September 2000

 

CROSSING THE LINE

Gateway sculpture to Tilsley Athletics Park, Abbingdon, Oxon.

Commissioned by the Vale of the White Horse District Council through Artpoint.

Made entirely from 50mm 316 grade stainless steel tube.

Size:  Height 7.5 metres x 14 metres wide x 1 metre deep.  The centre circle is 2.5 metres diameter.

FAKENHAM BENCH

Set of eight benches and litter bins for Fakenham, Norfolk to complement town center enhancement program. Commissioned by North Norfolk District Council.

Solid steam bent English oak, cast iron, mild steel and stainless steel.   Finished with epoxy powder coating to match other town center elements.

Size : 90cm high x 60 cm deep x 200cm wide.

PARK AND REST

Cycle benches commissioned by Sustrans as part of the National Cycle Network.

Three seater benches with integral cycle racks placed in three sites on Exmoor midway on the Great Western Way between Bristol and Padstow.    

Constructed in steam bent oak and stainless steel

Size:  Height 80cm x wdith 180cm x depth 60cm

Sculpture at Broomhill sculpture garden, Barnstaple, North Devon.

First commissioned by Andovia Ltd - joint development between The Grosvenor Estate and Unilever for new atrium space at 111 Old Broad Street, London.

Free standing on 9 adjustable feet and constructed from 40mm stainless steel tube.

Size : 8 meters high x 5 meters diameter (canopy), 3 meters diameter (base)

Completed in April 1998. Installed at Broomhill 2002.
